The Two Shades
I've been described as a difficult book to understand no matter how many times you read it.
Eric D.Washington was born on July 27, 1969 in Washington D.C. Mother (Olethia), God rest her
soul, Father (Unknown).  I spent the majority of my childhood in foster care and group homes
until the age of 11 when I moved to Prince Georges County Maryland to a permanent foster
home.  At the age of 17 I found myself back in the streets and struggling to complete high
school.  After graduating I entered the United States Marine Corp where I served four years
and was honorably discharged.  I moved to Brooklyn, New York in October of 1992 where I still
reside.  I have two children (Eric Jr. 1
8 & Malcolm 11) who help provide me with a sense of
forward direction.  My art and poetry lay dormant until in 1999 when I found myself on the
verge of a reckless employment breakdown.  I
'm currently a self employed Certified Fitness
Trainer & founder of Full Court Fitness Educational Program
.  My passion in writing comes
from my disappointment in life.
This bio contains bits and puzzled pieces about me, myself
and I.
